A warm welcome to Welton Village Memorial Hall

Built and run for the local community

We are in the village of Welton in East Yorkshire, situated at the foot of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds and just off the A63 trunk road about 4 miles west of the Humber Bridge.

The Hall is fronted by a Georgian era house with a traditional Hall and stage at the rear. The Trustees have recently refurbished the Hall with modern toilets, heating, lighting, wifi and cinema screen and sound as well as a new Kitchen and Meeting Room.

The Hall will hold up to 200 people or 120 seated so is ideal for a wide range of uses. We currently host the Welton Community Cinema as well as a range of wellbeing, exercise and arts activities and providing premises for the Lucky Duck café and the Welton Memorial Club which is adjacent. We make an ideal setting for parties and family events. You can see some of the weddings, parties and other events previously held in the Hall HERE. Find out about our facilities here: FACILITIES

    HELP!

Welton Village Memorial Hall is a fantastic resource for our local community that is used for a wide range of events both public and private. This means that we can host events like last year's Cinderella. However the Hall is run mostly by a small team of Trustees who are all unpaid volunteers. We need more volunteers to help make sure that we can tell people about what we are doing.

We need help in the following areas:

  • TICKETING
  • MARKETING
  • ACCOUNTS
  • BOOKINGS
  • No special experience is needed and we only need a small amount of your time, so if you can help please email booking.weltonmemorialhall@gmail.com
