A warm welcome to Welton Village Memorial Hall

Built and run for the local community

We are in the village of Welton in East Yorkshire, situated at the foot of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds and just off the A63 trunk road about 4 miles west of the Humber Bridge.

The Hall is fronted by a Georgian era house with a traditional Hall and stage at the rear. The Trustees have recently refurbished the Hall with modern toilets, heating, lighting, wifi and cinema screen and sound as well as a new Kitchen and Meeting Room.

The Hall will hold up to 200 people or 120 seated so is ideal for a wide range of uses. We currently host the Welton Community Cinema as well as a range of wellbeing, exercise and arts activities and providing premises for the Lucky Duck café and the Welton Memorial Club which is adjacent.

Welton Community Cinema presents Wonka

Wonka is a 2023 musical fantasy telling the origin story of Willy Wonka from Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This PG film has a stellar cast including Timothée Chalamet, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Grant.

This show is being performed at Welton Memorial Hall on Saturday, 13th April, 2024 at 7.30 pm. Tickets are just £5 on the door. Doors open 7.00pm

Sip, Shop, Socialise is an event in Welton Memorial Hall in support of Hull Women's Aid. We have clothes for sale, interior decor items. cocktails and prosecco amongst other delights. It's just a fun evening for you and your friends..

Flat Cap Criminals - The Devil is in Town is an Immersive, Interactive Event of Murder and Mobsters! The Cheeky Bleeders: Tommy & Arthur Blade, welcome you to Club Inferno, Birmingham’s Prime Time Jazz Club. Grab a drink, relax and enjoy the clubs newest act, singer Roxii Heart.

Club Inferno is the most exciting place to be in 1920s Birmingham. This exotic Jazz club is owned by the notorious gangland family, The Blades, where gambling and Jazz are all the rage in this underground haven. Enjoying the highlife and expanding their empire to create gambling dens in the capital, the brothers have unearthed new enemies with the infamous Flat Cap Criminals. Reggie and brother Ronnie Pistol have decided to pay a visit to Birmingham this weekend to have it out with the Cheeky Bleeders on their own patch.
